Today the New York Rangers agreed to terms with forward Emerson Etem on a one year contract worth $850K. Emerson, 23, was acquired by the Rangers via a trade with the Anaheim Ducks which included Carl Hagelin from the Blueshirts.

Last season, Etem split time between the Norfolk Admirals (the Ducks’ AHL affiliate). In his time in the AHL, Etem played 22 games, scoring 13 goals as well as having eight assists for 21 points.
