Two-time Stanely Cup Champion and former New York Rangers defenseman, Sergei Zubov, has been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Zubov played four seasons with Moscow’s Central Red Army team between 1988 and 1992. He was also a gold medal winner as a member of the Unified Team at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.
In 1990, the Rangers drafted Zubov in the fifth round with the 85th overall pick. He was assigned to the AHL until 1992 when he made his NHL debut on Dec. 6 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
