The New York Rangers announced a roster move Thursday morning recalling goaltender Marek Mazanec from the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack. In a corresponding move, New York announced they are sending Alexandar Georgiev to Hartford.

The goaltending move was done in order to get Georgiev some game action as he has only appeared in one out of the seven games the Blueshirts have played this season.
