The New York Rangers have reportedly sent Alexandar Georgiev back to the Hartford Wolf Pack according to the AHL transactions page.

Georgiev has appeared in four games this season allowing 15 goals in four starts. He has a 3-1 record with a 3.63 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.

The man getting the call to replace Georgiev is Marek Mazanec who was part of the goaltending battle to be the backup goaltender entering the season.
