Fans of the New York Rangers should be encouraged by the play of K’Andre Miller and Zac Jones during the United States’ 6-3 win over Germany in the second day of the World Junior Championships. Both Miller and Jones played important roles in the win that got Team USA back on track after an opening day loss to Canada.
Zac Jones, a freshman at the University of Massachusetts, is playing on the top power play unit for Team USA. He scored the United States second goal at even strength on a great feed from Trevor Zegras. The USA had just finished killing a penalty and the Jones’ one-timer gave them a 2-1 lead.
