Today’s matinee features two teams clearly going in opposite directions.
The New York Rangers, as we all know, suck. And that’s putting it nicely. They are 3-10 in their last 13 games and have looked disinterested and unorganized at times on the ice. The New York Wolf Pack have given up 3.66 goals per game over their last six and have only scored 2.17 goals per game in that stretch. While, yes, they have been banged up, there are no excuses for these deficiencies.
The Flyers, on the other hand: they are red hot.
Philadelphia has gone 5-0-2 in their last seven games and are getting production from their top guys.
