New York Rangers Preview: Fiery Battle in Store vs Flames

The New York Rangers got demolished on Wednesday Rivalry Night. The upstart Boston Bruins visited Madison Square Garden in search of a win. They got more than just any old win.

While the Rangers started workhorse Henrik Lundqvist, the Bruins had backup Anton Khudobin backstopping. However, Lundqvist would not see the end of the game. He lasted only 28 minutes of game time, allowing four goals on only 16 shots.

Following a strong first period for the Blueshirts, the Bruins beat the Rangers up and down the ice in the 6-1 thrashing. That was the Rangers’ fourth loss in row.
