This Saturday night, the New York Rangers will take on the Florida Panthers. They will finish out their Florida road trip having played the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night. After winning three straight in Western Canada, some fans may have thought that the Rangers were back to their normal selves.
They did win three games in a row, only one going past regulation, and all on the road. Maybe the rebuild was done, after being in existence for about a month? No such luck. The Lightning, the best team in the NHL, definitely gave the Rangers a lot of trouble, ultimately coming out with the 5-3 win.
