The New York Rangers rebuild got into full swing this past season. The organization wheeled and dealed at the 2018 trade deadline. In doing so, the Rangers’ brass showed their hand in how this rebuild is going to go.
It seems quite apparent at this point that the Rangers plan to grow this team organically. They want to load up on draft picks and prospects and build from within. However, this strategy comes at a cost.
Current roster players will be the casualties of these future building deals. Before I get into who I think is at risk of being traded, I want to preface it with two statements.
