The Tampa Bay Lightning had another strong season in a string of successful years. The team added talent at the trade deadline. They followed that up with another deep playoff run, making their way to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they fell to the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals.
This offseason has been one of little change for the Lightning, as their roster remained essentially identical. Instead, the organization used this time to re-up important contracts and make sure important players recovered from seasonal injuries.
