New York Rangers News: Conor Allen Does Not Receive A Qualifying Offer

With the deadline to qualify restricted free agents coming to close on Monday night, the New York Rangers have sent qualifying offers to eight of their nine RFA's. According to Andrew Gross, the only restricted free agent to not receive a qualfying offer was Conor Allen. As a result, Allen will become an unrestricted free agent come July 1, and is free to negotiate a contract with any team that is interested in his services.

Allen, 25, appeared in seven total NHL games with the Rangers over the past two years, registered a total of four shots on goal, and was a minus two rating.
