The biggest mistake the
New York Rangers made this season was signing veteran defenseman, Dan Boyle, over the summer.
Originally having his right acquired by the New York Islanders from the
San Jose Sharks, Boyle left the Islanders to sign a 2 year deal with the Rangers. In hindsight, the Rangers should have let the Islanders have him.
Signing Boyle not only made the Rangers worse but it made the Islanders better, as they never would have acquired
Nick Leddy and Johnny Boychuk if they had Boyle.
