The New York Rangers have a plethora of stunning prospects to develop. But who can help them but a couple of champions?
Stanley Cup Champions Brian Leetch and Brad Richards were both hired today as advisers to hockey operations for the Rangers organization as announced by the Rangers’ Twitter account.
They will work on hockey-related decisions and off-ice player and prospect development. This job description includes working closely with players on their AHL Hartford Wolfpack team.
A Calder Trophy winner in his rookie year and a two-time Norris Trophy winner, Leetch played on the Rangers for 17 seasons, winning the Stanley Cup with the team in 1994 while also collecting playoff MVP honors.
