The 12-year career of Dave Creighton included three with the New York Rangers. Creighton appeared in 210 games with the organization between 1955-1958. In that time, he recorded 55 goals and 87 assists and also had 125 penalty minutes. In the 1955-56 season with the Rangers, Creighton had 20 goals and also produced 51 points, the best of goals and points total he had in his career.

In what he calls the highlight of his pro hockey career, Creighton names the 1953 Stanley Cup semifinal against Detroit as standing out most vividly in his mind.
