The New York Rangers have had a much better start to this season than last year. And, surprisingly, their best player thus far has been one of the rookies: Oscar Lindberg.
After spending a couple years down in the AHL, the 24-year-old has done everything humanly possible to stay on the Rangers’ bench this season.
In 11 games, Lindberg has picked up five goals and seven points. For a rookie, that is incredible. And the NHL certainly noticed as they named him one of the stars of the week.
