The New York Rangers held a practice Monday afternoon while missing three of their starters.
Jesper Fast, who remained away from the team for personal reasons, joined Mika Zibanejad and, surprisingly, Henrik Lundqvist, who was not on the ice with his teammates.
Both Zibanejad and Lundqvist are listed as day-to-day. Zibanejad was injured late in the first period of Sunday’s 7-4 loss to the Boston Bruins. He took what appeared to be a shoulder-to-head hit and though he did play in his next shift, he was subsequently removed from the game and did not return.
