Carolina Hurricanes – Loser
The Hurricanes made absolutely no moves on Monday, but got hit in the solar plexus when Montreal signed budding star Sebastian Aho to a five-year $42 million offer sheet. The contract is frontloaded with over $21 million in bonuses in the first two years. A small market team like Carolina will not have an easy time coming up with that cash if they want to match.
