The New York Rangers may have fallen into a trap game against the Winnipeg Jets, losing 4-1 on Tuesday, but one positive from that contest was Mats Zuccarello‘s opening goal in the first period.
His one timer beat Jets goalie, Michael Hutchinson, who played an otherwise perfect game. Hutchinson posted an unbelievable .976 save percentage by the end of 60 minutes. It wasn’t without a little more trouble from Zuccarello however.
Throughout the night, Zuccarello wasn’t hesitant to shoot the puck. When the Rangers needed to break the 1-1 tie or play catch up, Zuccarello knew he had to act quickly.
