New York Rangers: Looking back on the magical spring of 2014

Like the rest of us, the Rangers are watching this year’s playoffs on the couch at home. This is a rarity in New York, the team hadn’t missed the playoffs since 2010 when they finished just behind the eight seed. With little to think about, think back to the incredible 2014 postseason where the Rangers came oh so close.

The 2013-2014 season was the year all of the team’s bubbling talent frothed over. The team’s young core of Chris Kreider, Derek Stepan, Carl Hagelin and Ryan McDonagh all took major steps in their development.
