The New York Rangers from their head coach to their captain chalked up their 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Monday as just one of those games.
“There’s certain games that even when you don’t get the two points, you feel good about the way you played,” Barclay Goodrow explained. “You just chalk it up to not one of our nights.”
There was plenty to feel good about too, as the Rangers blasted the Jets with 51 shots only to come up on the wrong side of the ledger. Tonight, they’ll be in Detroit to face a decent Red Wings team looking to get back in the win column.
