The New York Rangers brain trust is hard at work preparing for the NHL Entry Draft. While their first pick is a no-brainer they still have eight other picks and will hopefully mine the later rounds for a overlooked gem. Meanwhile, the rumor mill continues to grind away with some Blueshirts in the conversation.
In the meantime, the Blueshirts continue to refine their roster as they prepare for 2019-20.
Roster moves
The Rangers signed Finnish prospect Tarmo Reunanen to an entry level contract. While Reunanen had a breakout year with Liiga in Finland, he was also less than one year away from the deadline for the team to sign him before losing his rights.
