In the business of sports journalism, analysis is everything. Often time we get caught up in analyzing coaches and players, but the upper management is usually left out. For the New York Rangers, Glen Sather and Jeff Gorton have been solid GM’s during their respective tenures.
Sather was the Rangers general manager for 15 seasons before stepping down and giving way to Gorton in 2015. Since then, Gorton has done an admirable job at keeping the Rangers right where they have been for some time –at contender status.
Both have made an impact on the Rangers in their time as general manager.
