The NHL Draft is an opportunity for the New York Rangers to add to their prospect pipeline. Originally called the NHL Amateur Draft, it was first held on June 5, 1963 in Montreal. Starting in the 1995 season, the league introduced the NHL Draft Lottery which is still in place today.
When and Where is the 2023 NHL Draft
The 2023 NHL Draft will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee from June 28-29.
Day One of the NHL Draft will begin at 7 pm et on ESPN, Sportsnet, and TVAS covering the first round.
