New York Rangers great Mike Richter Will Donate Brain to Science

It has been close to 13 years since The New York Rangers great Mike Richter hung up his skates in what was a tearful goodbye. Richterwas forcedinto retirement after he suffered two concussions within an eight-month span.

However, the concussions have not stopped Richter from playing the sport he grew up to love. Now 49, Richter says that his health is “good” and he continues to lead an active lifestyle, taking part in a non-contact hockey men’s recreational league.
