The New York Rangers will not have to play back-to back games this weekend since it is being reported that their game in Ottawa will be postponed because of a COVID-19 outbreak that has hit the Senators team.
Currently there are 10 players and associate coach Jack Capuano in COVID-19 protocol. The NHL is expected to announce the they will also postponed games against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night in Newark and their game against Nashville on Thursday.
Cancelled Practice added to Postponements
The Senators were forced to cancel their fourth consecutive practice after the team had more positive results Monday.
