New York Rangers center Filip Chytil has adjusted to the speed of the game while he played for the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack. He has the speed to keep up on the defensive end of the ice along with speed to create scoring opportunities in the opposing team’s zone.
Chytil needs to work on a different issue regarding speed. That would be making quicker decisions on the ice. The pace of the game is the biggest area Chytil needs to improve on.
Head coach Alain Vigneault wasn’t too concerned with Chytil’s play or speed in the Rangers 2-1 win over Carolina on Saturday Night.
