After the New York Rangers embarrassed themselves in Game 2 vs. the
Tampa Bay Lightning at Madison Square Garden, everyone figured the Rangers would rebound and play a heck of a lot better. Not saying that the Rangers were going to win Game 3 down in Tampa Bay, but at least put forth a better effort. This can only be said for the offense however, as the defense and goaltending were extremely poor for yet another game, resulting in a Rangers’ 6-5 loss in overtime.
They say that Henrik Lundqvist never has two bad playoff games in a row.
