The New York Rangers have gone 7-2-2 this October- a much better start to the season than last year when they went 5-4-2. And one of the reasons why they’re seeing a better start now is because a few players, including Derick Brassard, are on pace for the best season of their NHL career.
Earning the second star of the game in Friday’s win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Brassard put up three primary assists – all used to set up line mate, Mats Zuccarello. The two have been a match made in hockey heaven as both are on their way to a ground breaking season.
