A SMASHing Success- NHL.COM
Last week, the fourth annual Smashfest was held at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto. The event, hosted by Dominic Moore, is a charitable cause to help fund research into rare forms of cancer. He started the event after the passing of his late wife, Katie, who had succumbed to her battle with this deadly disease.
Through its first three years, Smashfest has raised $270,000 towards this cause, and has been a popular event amongst hockey players.
