The New York Rangers had a relatively quiet day compared to the rest of the league as free agency began on Wednesday.
Among a handful of players picked up by the Rangers – Brian Gibbons, Viktor Stalberg, Matthew Lindbald, Jayson Megna, and Raphael Diaz (again) – New York acquired goalie, Magnus Hellberg, from the Nashville Predators.
