New York Rangers’ rookie defenseman Adam Fox was the winner of the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award as the top rookie in training camp The announcement was made on Wednesday.
Past winners of the Sjoberg award include Dominic Moore, Henrik Lundqvist, Brandon Dubinsky, Oscar Lindberg, Carl Hagelin and Jesper Fast
Fox was obtained at the conclusion of last season in a trade with the Carolina Hurricanes.
The defenseman played three seasons with Harvard University where he earned high honors prior to signing an entry-level contract with the Blueshirts in May.
