New York Rangers’ power forward Chris Kreider missed practice on Sunday due to what is being described as a lower-body injury.
The right-wing blocked several shots in the teams 4-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers at the Garden on Saturday. He also had the unfortunate luck of having forward Jujhar Khaira fall on his leg late in the first period.
He missed the final few minutes of the first period, but went on to finish out the game.
Speaking of the injury, David Quinn spoke with New York Post reporter Brett Cyrgalis.
