There’s not a lot going on in New York Rangers land right now, but there’s still a little news to bring you.
Yesterday was announcer Sam Rosen’s birthday.
Rosen, who turned 69-years-old, has been the Rangers play-by-play announcer since 1984 and has shown no signs of slowing up. He has called numerous playoff runs, including the 1994 Stanley Cup run. His call from when the Rangers won game 7 is still one of the great memories in Rangers history.
ESNY writer Frank Curto was a busy man, as he wrote up a report about Pavel Buchnevich’s summer, specifically how much the young Russian hated the heat in Dubai.
