For every bit encouraging the New York Rangers’ effort was on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks, Saturday’s game was equally frustrating. The team that was quickly executing zone exits and being decisive on Thursday was muddled in their own end and struggled to gain the offensive zone on Saturday.
