In six games at the Barclays Center through two seasons, the New York Rangers are 0-5-1. Of course, this is on the heels of a bad season. However, this is simply unacceptable against an archrival…the archrival.
That point aside, the Rangers weren’t exactly playing for points here. In fact, losing will help them come time for the draft lottery pick. Still, those who don the red white and blue can’t help but want to win at least a few more times before they bid the 2017-2018 season adieu.
Kevin Hayes got things looking good for the Rangers in the first period with a power play goal.
