Lindberg was drafted #57 in the 2nd round of the 2010 Entry Draft by the Arizona Coyotes. He was then traded to the New York Rangers just a year after, in exchange for Ethan Werek.
Since signing for the Rangers, Lindberg has played two full seasons in the AHL for the Hartford Wolf Pack, and has played only one NHL game for the Rangers.
