Tuesday morning, the New York Rangers announced on Twitter that they have hired Joe Mormina to serve as an assistant coach for the Hartford Wolf Pack.

He is the first addition to new Wolf Pack head coach Keith McCambridge’s staff. It’s safe to assume that he won’t be the last.
Mormina spent last season as an assistant coach at Mercyhurst University, where he was involved with the team’s defensemen and overall player development.
