The New York Rangers have claimed the 32-year-old right winger off of waivers. Adam Cracknell has been bounced around the league over the past few years. The Rangers will be Cracknell’s sixth NHL team.
Cracknell is in his ninth season in the NHL after being drafted in the 9th round of the 2004 Draft. He was given his longest crack at the NHL last season with the Dallas Stars. He played in 69 games and had career highs for points, goals, and assists.
After being benched last game, it seems as if Alain Vigneault and the Rangers are giving up on the Filip Chytil experiment.
