The New York Rangers must find the Pittsburgh Penguins incredibly annoying. Not only have they won two Stanley Cups in the last three years, but just when it looks like they are headed to a downturn, they find another gear and start to win.
Just a few weeks ago the Penguins were on the outside of the playoff picture, scrambling to get into a wild card slot. Since then, they lost only two games in regulation in their last 12, going 8-2-2. From a lottery team, they are now one point out of first place in the Metropolitan Division.
