Vladislav Namestnikov broke out of a 23 game scoring slump as he netted two goals in the Rangers 6-2 rout of the Sabres last night. Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev stopped 31 shots last night all while two of New York’s three goals in the final four minutes helped seal the victory for the Blueshirts.
Before the game, rookie Filip Chytil was scratched and newcomer Connor Brickley was inserted into the lineup. Brickley was acquired by the Rangers from Nashville in exchange for Cole Schneider.
Can we call this a “shorthanded goal?
