LAS VEGAS – With their season exactly halfway over as they prepared to finish a three-game Western road trip with Tuesday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights, Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan checked out the Rangers’ practice Monday, then told reporters afterward that he is happy with the performance of first-year coach David Quinn, satisfied with the way the team’s rebuilding project is going, and adamant that none of his teams, neither the Rangers nor the NBA’s Knicks, will ever tank games in order to try and secure a better draft pick.
