The New York Rangers aren’t in action tonight, but center prospect Morgan Barron and his Cornell Big Red are playing Northeastern University today at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPNews. Barron, who the Rangers selected 174th overall in the 6th round of the 2017 Draft, leads the Big Red in scoring this season with 14 goals and 19 assists in 33 games.
Barron, a sophomore, is a 6-foot-2 center from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has 12 points in the 15 games Cornell has played since the beginning of February. He has picked up 18 of his 34 points this year at even strength and six of his 19 total assists have been primary.
