Moore, Stoll & Fast hitting stride as Rangers' 4th line

SUNRISE, Fla. – No one criticized Alain Vigneault for Thursday night’s 2-1 loss in Tampa Bay, but even the Rangers coach was reviewing his late-game decisions on Friday – and standing defiantly behind them.

“There’s no doubt that everybody was disappointed by last night’s result,” Vigneault said of his team’s response to their first regulation loss since Oct. 15. “We fought back, tied it up, we’re going on a power play. I mean, I could have put two Ds (defensemen) on the ice and played for the point, but I was playing to win. And I had the top guys out (on the ice) and I had confidence in them.
