Lightning trade J.T. Miller to Canucks in cap crunch

J.T. Miller is on the move again.

The former Rangers center was dealt from the Lightning to the Canucks for goalie Marek Mazanec, a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 conditional pick.

The 2020 pick converts to a 2021 first-rounder if the Canucks miss the playoffs next season. The Canucks will also take Miller’s entire contract, which has four years with a $5.25 million cap hit, according to TSN.

Miller, who the Rangers shipped to Tamp Bay along with Ryan Callahan in 2018, scored 13 goals and recorded 47 points this past season for the Lightning.
