Keith Yandle has high admiration for Rangers teammates that gutted out injuries during last spring's playoffs, which he described candidly on Friday.
"There are some warriors in this room. I mean we have some savages in here, in a good way," Yandle said Friday at training camp in Greenburgh.
Count Yandle among the savages, then.
Though the Rangers defenseman won't make excuses, coach Alain Vigneault revealed on Thursday that Yandle had played most of the postseason with a first-degree shoulder separation. Yandle shrugged both shoulders on Friday when asked about how he had played through the injury.
