Finally a good update on the injury front, as coach David Quinn has stated Filip Chytil has a “good chance” to play tomorrow. Chytil has been out since January with an upper body injury.
The Rangers have missed Chytil and desperately need him to return to the lineup. Outside of Ryan Strome, who has been the most consistent Ranger still actually playing (Artemi Panarin notwithstanding), the Rangers need center depth. Getting Brett Howden off the third line is critical.
The powerplay should also benefit from Chytil’s return, as PP2 has been a disaster since his injury.
