The Rangers are trying not to let this Kris Letang unpenalized high-stick bother them. They really are.
But it sure ain’t easy.
Letang, the All-Star Penguins defenseman, wailed Rangers forward Viktor Stalberg in the face with his stick during the third period of Game 3 of their first-round series on Tuesday night at the Garden. At the time, Pittsburgh held a 2-1 lead, and with no penalty called, they would go on to a 3-1 victory and a 2-1 edge in the best-of-seven series, which resumes Thursday night on Broadway.
