Henrik Lundqvist to be inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame

Legendary New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will be the newest member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Although expected, the official announcement came on Wednesday along with the following members of the 2023 Class:

  • Mike Vernon, Goalie
  • Tom Barrasso, Goalie
  • Pierre Turgeon, Center
  • Caroline Ouellette, Forward
  • Ken Hitchcock, Coach (Builder)
  • Pierre Lacroix, GM (Builder)

“Grateful and extremely honored to be selected to the Hockey Hall Of Fame,” Lundqvist wrote. “Thinking of all the great players in the HHOF that inspired me as a kid.
