After this past Friday’s 6-3 victory over the defending Calder Cup champion Charlotte Checkers and Saturday’s loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the 2019-20 Hartford Wolf Pack have reached the halfway mark of the season. While no team is ever perfect, this year’s Wolf Pack team, thus far, has exceeded many people’s expectations, including those of yours truly. Currently sitting in first place in the Atlantic Division, first place in the Eastern Conference and tied for second overall in the league behind the league-leading Milwaukee Admirals, it’s safe to say Hartford is in a good spot. The Pack is currently on track for a 106 point season, which would be the best the team has done since 2014-15 season.
