Springfield Thunderbirds 5, Hartford Wolf Pack 2
Springfield, MA, February 1, 2019 – The Hartford Wolf Pack battled back from a 2-0 first-period deficit against the Springfield Thunderbirds Friday night at the MassMutual Center, but Springfield would get the last three goals of the game for a 5-2 win, in the first action for both teams following the AHL All-Star break.
“I thought there were puck battles that we did a good job winning,” Wolf Pack head coach Keith McCambridge said, “but when you’re on the road, to get down 2-0, that’s a tough hill to climb.
